New survey data on abundance and movements for two poorly known Asian Spiny Frogs

We present new natural history data on abundance and movements (daily seasonal) during the pre-breeding (March-June) breeding-post-breeding season (July-September) of two poorly studied frog species Himalayas, Nanorana vicina Allopaa hazarensis . estimated 185 Murree Hills Frogs 90 Hazara within study area (0.79 ha). The daily seasonal movement showed that moved either between neighboring ponds or remained in an array smaller (within 120 m 2 ) along stream bank. About 75% were < 29.5 N. 50.87 A. while 41.5 81 season. suggest inclusion amphibian habitat requirements ensuring connectivity urban planning development projects to prevent local extinction endemic species.
